Goodhue Gives: Goodhue Boat Company Donates to End 68 Hours of Hunger

Dec. 12 2024 Announcements By Adriana Vanderzanden

Wolfeboro, NH – December 6, 2024 – Goodhue Boat Company is proud to announce a $500 donation to End 68 Hours of Hunger, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending childhood food insecurity in communities across the country.
This contribution is the result of Goodhue’s pledge during its Pontoon Block Party, held in September in Ossipee, New Hampshire. For every boat sold at the event, Goodhue committed to donating funds to this impactful charity. The Pontoon Block Party, which celebrated the joys of boating and community, was a tremendous success. The three Goodhue locations that held the event, the Meredith, Ossipee, and Wolfeboro locations, we're happy to band together to present this opportunity for boaters to invest back into their own communities.
“We are thrilled to support End 68 Hours of Hunger and their mission to eliminate food inaccessibility for children,” said Jeremiah Burke, Regional Vice President. “At Goodhue, we believe in pouring into the communities that support us, and we’re grateful to our customers for helping us make this donation possible.”
End 68 Hours of Hunger works to bridge gap many children face when school meals are unavailable over the weekend. The organization provides take-home bags of food to students in need, ensuring they have nutritious meals when they are not in school. In America today, over 6.4 million children experience food insecurity. The team at End 68 Hours of Hunger works selflessly to aid this ongoing issue.
Goodhue Boat Company extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the Pontoon Block Party and helped make this initiative a success. Together, the boating community has made a meaningful impact in the lives of children in New Hampshire.
