Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for overseeing operations and success of the Rentals department. The manager will be the point of contact for inter-departmental communications, and report directly to the General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage employees with a wide variety of ages, including high school and college students.
- Manage employee scheduling, staffing, and job assignments to cover operational needs.
- Accountable for retail transactions and cash drawers.
- Manage rental boat accessories to ensure accurate inventory of water skis, tubes, tow ropes, etc. and verify they are not damaged and in good working order.
- Manage internal and inter-departmental communications.
- Work with boat registrations, including setting up booking grids and being responsible for 40+ new boat rentals.
