Job Summary:

Marine Service Advisors will report to the Service Manager and assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Service department and ensuring our customers receive prompt, courteous and effective service. In this position, you will be part of a team that specializes in the maintenance, repair, and detailing of most makes and models of boats.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers in a professional manner to gather all the information necessary to create an accurate estimate.
• Consult and sell services that are applicable to the type of boat and customer’s needs.
• Provide customers with a schedule of work, updates, and any changes that may occur.
• Coordinate with customers on transportation of their boat.
• Communicate with technicians to inform customers of the best remedies to properly repair their vessel.
• Locate, order, and input parts for customer units based on technicians’ notes and diagnosis.
• Finalize and invoice work orders.
• Ensure each customer has a positive service experience.
• Spend quality time building a relationship with the customer.
• Follow up after work is complete.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years marine service writer experience, preferred
• Excellent customer service and phone skills are a must.
• Must have superior selling skills and knowledge of how to cross-sell products and services.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem solving skills.
• Marine parts and services knowledge is a must.
• Experience with Lightspeed EVO, preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills.

In this role, you will support both our customers and service department by managing inventory, assisting with parts inquiries, and helping ensure efficient operations and high customer satisfaction.

The Parts Specialist works closely with the Parts Manager to maintain accurate inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and order parts and supplies needed to keep the service department running smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Assist walk-in customers, as well as phone customers with their parts and accessory needs.
• Lead day-to-day operations of the parts department in the absence of the Parts Manager.
• Order, return, receive, and provide parts to the service department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Process vendor invoices, credits, and payments using Lightspeed DMS.

· Verify invoice accuracy, match purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies.

· Maintain vendor files, W-9s, and payment terms.

· Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding items.

· Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliations.

· Assist with month-end closing tasks, including AP aging review and accruals.

· Generate AP-related reports using Lightspeed DMS.

· Support audits by providing documentation and transaction details.

Qualifications:

· 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience; dealership or multi-location experience preferred.
